Time to Talk

At Project 16, we are deeply committed to improving the lives of teenagers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area through meaningful programs and educational opportunities. In response to the challenges brought on by the global pandemic, we launched our latest initiative, Time to Talk, as a way to provide mental health support to our local youth.

About

Time to Talk is a counseling initiative that pairs teens with Licensed Professional Counselors of color that are certified in racial trauma. We understand the unique challenges that minority teenagers face, especially during these trying times, and we are here to provide a safe and supportive space for them to express their feelings, seek guidance, and heal emotionally.

The dedicated team of Licensed Professional Counselors from Kinnect Wellness is committed to helping teens navigate the complexities of life. We believe that access to quality mental health support should be available to everyone, and that’s why Project 16 is proud to sponsor Time to Talk, making it free and accessible to teens across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
